Before I was a photographer, I was simply in-love with looking at photos. Thumbing through my grandma’s photo albums (over, and over! Ha) was something I did for fun.
It made me feel like I was seeing my loved ones in all their seasons that came before I knew them. It’s like they had lived so many lives before I existed;
Honorable mention: my dad’s bleached hair/tongue ring phase, Thank God my grandma took that photo hahah.
We are all continuously growing and expanding and so is the life around us.
A photograph is a gift of time-travel. Preserving the beauty, the grief, and the joy of a lifetime. And the occasional embarrassing bleached hair photo, lol.

Unrelated to being a photographer (though incredibly influential to my work), I’m a mom to Gardner & Evangeline, and wife to David. We’ve also got a dachshund named Wade, who’s existence -among many other things- has convinced me that God does have a sense of humor.
I’ve also been a customer service rep at a gas-station for 9+ years- and I love it. I don’t see myself ever stepping away from that, fully. I feel like it only makes my ability to serve my photography clients richer.
I’m a big comfort show person-On a bad day you can find me rewatching 50 First Dates,13 Going On 30, or when I’ve gotta pull the big g*ns out— Nacho Libre.
I grew up in North Georgia, raised by a single dad with the help of my grandparents- Which meant that by the age of 16 I had been to wayyyy more funerals than anyone else my age.
I am truly and shamelessly sentimental.
I love kitchen window light. I take spells of loving to cook-mostly when its soup season. I’m not actually great at it! Haha.
I love spicy foods! Burritos after every wedding, pls!
I will try to get to know you- I will treat you as a friend.
I am happiest when I’m at the table eating with my husband and son, with our dog at our feet. I feel the most beautiful when I’m laughing with my best friends.
I feel the most ridiculous writing all of this out, but I am hopeful that this all might make some of you feel seen, and like you’ve found a kindred spirit.
